FRUIT

Game Day Fruit – (under 6s, under 8s, under 10s and under 12s) – Parents/Guardians please discuss and work out each week what player will be responsible for providing the team with some fruit.

The club relies on the assistance of volunteers in all aspects of running the club. We look to you to assist with supplying fruit, for example x8 oranges cut in quarters for your team on game day, thank you.

 

MARSHALL ROSTER

Marshall duties – please check the roster for your date. The club relies on the assistance of volunteers in all aspects of running the club. 

The Marshall role is required to effectively manage and administer the team’s (including parents, supporters, and spectators associated with their respective team) behaviour, and actions throughout the
duration of the game. You will be required to wear a high-vis Marshall vest (supplied by Club on the day).

If you are nominated in the roster and are unable to commit please ensure that you find a replacement for your nominated time slot.

GAME DAY SET UP

Setting up for a home games involves many tasks to be completed before the day can begin and during the day to make a successful event. We ask that family’s support the club with assisting where possible.

Please help by:

Setting up  6 red corner flags per pitch to be positioned on each pitch.

Setting up 6 substitute chairs to be positioned in each technical area.

Setting up the club stretcher to be placed near pitch 1 technical area.

Place rubbish bins around the grounds.

Unlock the toilets.

CLUB ROOM CLEANING ROSTER

Club Room Cleaning duties – please check the roster for your date.
The club relies on the assistance of volunteers in all aspects of running the club. We especially look to you to assist with the tidy up of our clubrooms throughout the season.
If you are nominated in the roster and are unable to commit please ensure that you find a replacement for your nominated time slot.

LINES PERSON ROSTER

 Lines Person duties – please check the roster for your date.
The club relies on the assistance of volunteers in all aspects of running the club. To undertake this role you must understand the game rules.

The lines person is one of two officials required to stand directly on either touchline. They will move up and down the pitch following the ball. The Lines person is responsible for stopping play for off-side and out of bounds as well as aiding the referee in other decisions. You will be required to wear high-vis Lines person vest (supplied by the Club on the day) and use flags.

If you are nominated in the roster and are unable to commit or require training/further knowledge please ensure that you contact your Coach to discuss prior to you rostered date.

LINE MARKING

Line Marking for a home games involves marking white pitch lines to be completed before each home game, generally on Friday or Saturday. We ask that family’s support the club with assisting where possible.

If you can help with marking and painting pitches, please contact Lorcan on 0408 699 789.

The goals are usually set up during this time too.

CANTEEN INFO

The club relies on the assistance of volunteers in all aspects of running the club. We especially look to you to assist with operating the canteen which is open on home games throughout the season.

If you are nominated in the roster and are unable to commit please ensure that you find a replacement for your nominated time slot.

The club would also appreciate any donations of food items, such as soup, cakes slices, and biscuits. Please also provide an ingredient list with all donated food items. All profits go toward the Club.
