Leongatha Knights Football Club

Leongatha Knights Football Club provides an inclusive and welcoming pathway for community members to participate in soccer across the Leongatha region in South Gippsland. Based at our home ground on Horn Street, Leongatha, our teams compete throughout the region, travelling to locations including Drouin,
Trafalgar, and Phillip Island as part of regular league fixtures.

We offer opportunities for players of all ages and genders, fielding teams from Under 6 through to Under 17, as well as Senior Men’s, Senior Women’s, and All Abilities teams. The club is an incorporated association and is proudly affiliated with Football Victoria (FV), ensuring a structured and well-supported football environment.

Our playing season typically runs from April through to September each year, with registrations opening online from November and sign-on periods occurring in late February or early March. Due to strong community interest, we encourage early registration to avoid disappointment.

Training schedules are finalised once teams are formed, with sessions held locally in Leongatha. Matches are generally played on weekends, with junior competitions held on Saturdays and senior fixtures on Sundays.

As a community-driven organisation, Leongatha Knights Football Club relies heavily on the dedication and support of volunteers. Parents and community members play a vital role across all areas of the club, including the executive committee, coaching staff, and team management, helping to create a positive and supportive
environment for all participants.
